RCSA is the Robotics Club and School of Automation of Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Mumbai. It is a student body founded in 2017 to promote and teach various aspects of robotics & industrial automation. With us being on the brink of the 4th Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) it is important for the students to be prepared for this challenging environment. RCSA promotes the students who are interested in this field and helps them acquire the necessary skill set which in turn will help them meet future challenges with greater confidence.
Robocon is the heart and soul of the RCSA club which brings students together. All the students of the team share the same goal of reaching the Internationals in the ABU-Robocon competition. This journey is full of hurdles, but with a team of highly driven students and great mentor support, we are positive on putting Team Tachyon on the international map.
The RCSA conducts Courses in Robotics Automation & IoT (CRAI). The first batch of 41 students has successfully completed their 98-hours certification course in Robotics & Automation.
The RCSA student body on March 2018 associated with the IEEE RAS (Robotics and Automation Society). This association will help us foster the development and facilitate the exchange of scientific and technological knowledge and resources in Robotics and Automation.
The RCSA room also acts as the Incubation Room; this amalgamation proves out to be beneficial as it brings together students who know to engineer things and students who know to make a business out of it. This unison is fostering students to build products and become entrepreneurs at the same time.
